Meet Faizi: 2023 Graduate, Badakhshan, Afghanistan

Faizi's journey is one of resilience, determination, and the power of education to transform lives. Born as the only daughter in a family of five brothers, In a time where hope seemed distant and her future uncertain, Fiazi's spirit began to wane under the weight of depression.

During this darkness, a reflection of light appeared in the form of a friend's recommendation. They introduced Fiazi to Eagle Online Academy, where she embarked on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Through the academy's English classes and the supportive community of the Courage Circle, Fiazi found a renewed sense of purpose and mental clarity. The Courage Circle not only offered workshops on mental health awareness but also provided a platform for activities that empowered students to stay strong in the face of challenges.

For Fiazi, Eagle Online Academy became a beacon of hope during her darkest days. Little she learned that this newfound hope would lead her to an even greater opportunity. Out of 68 applicants, Fiazi's exceptional qualities and determination shone through, earning her the prestigious American University of Afghanistan Scholarship. The very scholarship she had dreamed of was a gateway to a brighter future.

Fiazi's excitement overflowed as she shared her scholarship victory with those around her. She vividly recalled her long-standing dream of becoming a part of AUAF, inspired by a family member who had pursued her education and career there. Since her school graduation, Fiazi had been preparing herself for this moment, nurturing her dream and honing her skills at Eagle Online Academy.

The process of enrolling in AUAF was a journey. With the unwavering support of Eagle Online Academy, Fiazi was guided through the steps, including the preparation for the Duolingo test. In this process, a particular individual stood out - Husna Hashem. Husna's relentless encouragement and belief in Fiazi's potential fueled her self-confidence. In the face of doubt, Husna Hashem reassurance pushed Fiazi to keep striving, even when she doubted her own chances of winning the scholarship.
